Who me? A “Golden Boy”… I mean, if the label fits, who am I to argue? I’m more than happy to adopt that title when the swimwear looks like this.
This was one of my favourite designs from the 2025 collection. There’s something about the golden leaf detailing against that deep blue base which is really striking. The gold tones really pop, especially at golden hour (my personal favourite time of day — it’s the kindest lighting when you’re creating content). It just glows.
Like with all ECS pieces, it’s designed to stand out without feeling overdone. It’s eye-catching, and the kind of swimbrief that gets attention without trying too hard.
ECS have also put serious work into refining their fit over the years, and I’ve been honored to be part of that process in a small way when they've asked for my input. They’ve absolutely nailed it now. The sizing feels spot on, and the cut gives you that clean, sculpted shape.
One thing to note... ECS designs don’t include a drawstring. If you’re planning on doing pool laps, it might be worth sizing down for a more secure fit. But for beach days or poolside lounging, it’s a win. No drawstring means a cleaner front and a much smoother overall look.

This style is true to size, with a clean, sculpted fit.
As a guide:
- S: 28–30 inches
- M: 31–33 inches (Dave's size)
- L: 34–35 inches
- XL: 36–38 inches
If you prefer a tighter fit (especially for swimming), consider sizing down due to the no-drawstring design.

Care
To keep them looking their best:
- Rinse in fresh water after every wear
- Hand wash gently with mild detergent
- Lay flat to dry in the shade

Why are there different prices for different designs?
We sell each design at the same price set by the brand that supplies it. That means pricing can vary between styles or collections.
The Heatwave Club will never increase prices beyond what the brand sets, and if anything, you might find items priced lower during sales. Buying multiple brands in one purchase may save you shipping costs than if you were to directly purchase these individually.
What is the returns and exchanges policy?
Returns & Exchanges
Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.
To be eligible:
- Items must be unused, in original condition
- Must include original packaging and tags attached

Contact us with your order details and reason for return. Once reviewed, we’ll confirm whether your request is approved and provide return instructions.
Who covers return postage?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked or insured service, as we can’t take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.
How do refunds work?
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm:
- Receipt of your item
- Whether your refund has been approved
If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 28 days.
Can I exchange an item?
Exchanges are available if your item arrives damaged or defective. If you need to exchange for another reason, get in touch and we’ll try to help.
Can I return sale items?
Unfortunately, sale items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.

We ship to the UK, EU, USA, Canada and Australia - with more locations coming soon. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout depending on your location. Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
