Gali is an Australian brand.. and let’s be honest, Australia is pretty much the home of the swim brief. The fit, the cut, the confidence that comes with wearing them… get me to Bondi beach, now!!

I’ve had the honour of working with Gali since they first launched back in 2022, and I’m genuinely proud to have been part of their journey. Seeing how the brand has grown, while staying true to what they stand for, makes having their designs feel even more special to include in my edit.

What really sets Gali apart is their collaboration with Indiginous artists and communities. The designs aren’t just there to look good, they tell a story. There’s meaning behind the patterns, and that gives each piece a completely different level of depth compared to your typical swimwear.

The Urban Flow design is a great example of that. It’s bold, fluid, and eye-catching, but still easy to wear. One of those pieces that feels considered, not just styled.

Beyond the design, their ethical approach to how they operate is something I really respect. It’s a brand that’s doing things properly- supporting artists, being mindful in production, and creating swimwear that stands for something. Gali pay the artist royalties and community donations on every product, including those stocked at The Heatwave Club.

This style is true to size, with a classic Australian swim brief cut.

As a guide:

S: 28–30 inches
M: 31–33 inches (Dave's size)
L: 34–35 inches
XL: 36–38 inches (larger sizes available direct from Gali)

Care

To keep them looking their best:

We sell each design at the same price set by the brand that supplies it. That means pricing can vary between styles or collections.

The Heatwave Club will never increase prices beyond what the brand sets, and if anything, you might find items priced lower during sales. Buying multiple brands in one purchase may save you shipping costs than if you were to directly purchase these individually.

Returns & Exchanges

Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If 30 days have passed, unfortunately we can’t offer a refund or exchange.

To be eligible:

Items must be unused, in original condition
Must include original packaging and tags attached

How to request a return:

Contact us with your order details and reason for return. Once reviewed, we’ll confirm whether your request is approved and provide return instructions.

Who covers return postage?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked or insured service, as we can’t take responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit.

How do refunds work?

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm:

Receipt of your item
Whether your refund has been approved

If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 28 days.

Can I exchange an item?

Exchanges are available if your item arrives damaged or defective. If you need to exchange for another reason, get in touch and we’ll try to help.

Can I return sale items?

Unfortunately, sale items are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged.
